Good Vibrations: the KitSound X5 speaker

Kondor are proud to launch the first speaker comprising of SFX Gel Audio™ technology, which turns ANY flat surface into a speaker with uncompromising bass.

With £3m worth of investment, the KitSound X5 was designed and developed in Scotland, with a little help from Kondor buyer and KitSound specialist, Justin Christie. Justin is enthusiastic about the technology: “I provided the engineers with some guidance on various aspects of audio engineering and supplied tracks that I knew would really test this powerful little unit to the limit. Once the product was ‘tweaked’ by the Kondor design team, and a case and mobile adapters added, the product was ready for retail.”

Brett Trafford, SFX’s Business Development and Marketing Guru confirms the speaker’s benefits: “The unit is truly portable and will fit easily into your pocket. The case and mobile adapters ensure it is the perfect portable speaker for all music enthusiasts. There is nothing big about the X5, except the sound!”

The KitSound X5 will plug into any mobile device from iPod or mobile handset, to netbook or laptop and the supplied adapters ensure its universal appeal. Once connected, place the speaker on any flat surface with natural resonance and the SFX Gel Audio™ technology will turn the surface into the speaker. As you can see, it is difficult to explain exactly how it works and you have to try it to fully appreciate this seriously clever piece of kit.
